CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Bikers gathered in Chippewa Falls yesterday for the 14th annual Ridin' for a Reason Rally.
Motorcycles filled the parking lot of Loopy's Bar and Grill to ride for breast cancer awareness. Last year's event was canceled but they were still able to raise 15 thousand dollars. Organizers hoped to double that this year.
Board members say this year's event held a special meaning as the founder of the motorcycle rally, Angie Gibb Thomas, passed away in January of this year after a long fight with cancer.
