Post by: Shades on October 09, 2021, 09:42:35 AM
The Ramona Motorcycle Rally will return to the Ramona fairgrounds the weekend of Oct. 16 and 17.

Held at the Ramona Outdoor Community Center, 421 Aqua Lane, the rally is San Diego County's only motorcycle event of this size, said Ramona Chamber of Commerce Event Chair Paul Zawilenski.

This year's rally will include the Fifth Annual Bike Show on Oct. 17 where custom motorcycles will compete for unique trophies and prizes.

More than 25 vendors, including craft beer and wine vendors, will be set up in addition to food trucks.

A full line-up of bands will perform during the weekend. Exhibition mini-bike races will be held in the rodeo arena Oct. 16 before the bands play.

Presenting sponsor, Indian Motorcycle of San Diego, will have a factory demo truck for test rides on Oct. 17. A dyno truck will also be onsite that day to test its horsepower.

For riders from out of the area, there will be attractive backcountry roads to explore. The county is the gateway to miles of scenic motorcycle riding with Ramona located in the center.

Proceeds from the Ramona Chamber of Commerce sponsored event will go toward scholarships and educational programs.
