The annual event helps gather riders all over the community in efforts to visit local businesses while engaging in a prize contest that could help one of the riders take a few hundred dollars. The event also gathers all the interested community to a feast and also various vendors in efforts to showcase how Harley-Davidson and other local businesses are very much involved in Laredo.
"This is our annual poker run called the Polar Bear Poker Run," said Sarah Oakley, marketing spokesman for Laredo Harley-Davidson. "Usually it is kind of tongue-in-cheek because it could be cold, but more times than not we are pushing 75 degrees in February."
