Motorcycle ride Sunday in Battle Creek to thank first responders
A motorcycle ride Sunday through the Battle Creek area will thank first responders.
Called the First Inaugural Ride to Thank Our Heroes, the ride will pass police and fire stations in Battle Creek, Springfield and Pennfield and Bedford townships and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Silver Star apartments where many veterans live.
Pennfield Township Supervisor Dave Morgan and the Oscar Brady American Legion Post 298 are organizing the ride, which Morgan hopes will be an annual event.
