Jonesboro River Rally celebrates 15th annual show with motorcycles, music
The Jonesboro River Rally is one of the largest motorcycle rallies in Indiana, so to celebrate the 15th rally, the organizers went even bigger.
This year, there will be more than 60 vendors and so much live music that there will be a second stage for performances. This all comes in preparation for a potentially large turn out, according to organizers.
"We've got 65 vendors this year," said event organizer Monica Meador. "I imagine with everything being closed down that it's going to be huge. We've extended past Sixth Street with our vendors."
The second stage will be located in the First Presbyterian Church parking lot, 601 S. Main St. in Jonesboro, and will feature 16 musical acts across the course of the weekend. There will also be three special guest speakers on this stage.
Much of the Rally's events will take place along South Main Street, with the central location for the event being 320 S. Main St. This includes the myriad of vendors, a stunt rider, live music and the bike show.
The rally opens Thursday when the vendors set up, and there will also be a cookout on Thursday starting at 6 p.m. and lasting until the food is gone.
